Answer
Introduction:This wireless technology assignment explores the commencement of wireless technology is at the top notch for today’s technological world. In evidence of such, there are existences of companies such as Apple or that of Sony or Philips who are remarkably growing their market within the wireless technologies (Sony.co.in, apple.com/in, 2018). Among the technologies, wireless headphones are one such advancement. In relevance of such context, the following content would be dealing with the advancement of wireless headphones and its various aspects related to its growth. The main idea is to sustain the growth of wireless technologies through headphones with undertaking management over its benefits and that of present risks.
Topic: Wireless headphones
1. Reason for the requirement of innovation: The predecessor of wireless headphone technology that is the wired one, is equipped with majority of disadvantages apart from having advantages. On the first portion of disadvantage, stay the tethering aspects of wired headphones (Javaid et al. 2015). The fact resembles the requirement of the device to always stay connected with the headphones irrespective of any worse situation. Any misguiding of such can end up disrupting the connection.
The wireless technology assignment further explores the issue of ear buds being snatched away if the earphones are subjective of being attached to something at the user’s vicinity. This is one of the most common problems that are face by wired headphone users. Moving further, there is also presence of the issues such as limited range for straying away from the concerned device (Joyce & Paquin, 2016). The device is subjective to be intact within a certain range that disrupts major movement of user.
Another factor majorly ongoing for using wired headphones is the jumbling up of wire ending up in unescapable knots and loops. Against all the mentioned issues, development of wireless headsets are the most required technology, to go against the odds (Vieira Junior et al. 2014).
2. Benefits through the new idea generation: First and foremost importance favouring the idea of using wireless headphones would be the convenience. Through using Bluetooth being available within latest versions, allowance of more than 33 feet can be achieved. As for evidence, Philips provides its wireless headphone with a range of 49 feet that is nearly 15 metres, hence relieving the issue of tethering. The factor majorly staying as a benefit is no formation of wire nests while carrying out any sort of work. One can easily stay out of touch from the device with the headphones plugged in ears. Through such, the issue of wire tangling can be averted.
Apart from such, through the idea of using wired headsets, it would be favourable to carry out motional works such as running or going into gym without bothering about the device (Toro-Jarrín, Ponce-Jaramillo & Güemes-Castorena, 2016). Apart from that, being portable and handy as well as lightweight, the device is taken to be less harmful for the ears, with active noise cancellation features. As evidence of such, the Apple ear pods are effectively portable as well a lightweight in order to provide convenience to the ears with active features (apple.com/in, 2018).
3. Business model proposition:The business model proposition has been done in favour of technological venture Apple Inc. for the management of idea of generating wireless headphones (Refer to appendix 1) (apple.com/in, 2018). The table is effective to produce the desired customer relationship aspects along with the cost structure of the company in managing its product. The cost is seen as a rise of 30% from the wired ones in Apple. This is suggestive of the fact of wireless headsets with enhanced features such as autos connect facility and active noise cancellation aspects. Through such, the value proposition would favour active noise cancellation along with seamless design and multiple applications supportive. Favouring the channels for customer attraction, the company uses its retail stores along with mass media for enhancement of their products especially the wireless headsets. The key activity behind the procurement of such activities is related to the enhancement of product, the wireless headphones, in order to get hold of more product differentiation (Iqbal Nadeem & Zaheer, 2015). For such activities, the partners for Apple stays SAP and Accenture being responsible for enhancing the market for Apple in mediating their product, the wireless headphones (apple.com/in, 2018).
4. Critical success factors: The major critical success factors for technological industry are innovation, quality within sales along with user literature and the ease of product use.
Innovation: The wireless technology assignment explores how Innovation stays the main success factor for any company to get positive outcomes for their products. Through innovations, a company get hold of their profits and that of brand endorsement through their product’s success (Fernández-Lago et al. 2015). As considered to be the wireless headphones, use of seamless technological advances can cater to the idea. Also the use of higher transmission modules by increasing the distance factor for headset and that of device can prove beneficial for the users. As for example, Phillips offers a connectivity range of 12 metres for their wireless headphones while Apple procures the same with a better outcome through offering 15 metres (Philips.co.in, 2018).
Sales quality: Quality of the products is one of the main aspects that subject its branding along with its efficiency. As for example, Sony provides their headphones with extra feature of headband system for their wireless structured headphones that are eligible to provide active system of noise cancellation with enhanced designed (Sony.co.in, 2018). Such factors are effective to grow the sales through managing the quality for the mentioned venture. Apart from such, for example, Philips offer rubber casing for their headphones along with sporty designs for being used in rougher conditions. Such factors are effective to procure the sales for Philips.
Ease in usage of product: The factor being most efficient for any product is its usage feasibilities. For the idea of using wireless headphones, there would be more varied usages. As against the disadvantages of wired headphones being less convenient and gets jumbled up, the wireless headphones would be more effective to give its usages in a revived format. Any venture in particular is subjective to procure their headset product in such a way so as to provide the customer their usage benefits (Nicholas & Steyn, 2017). Through such aspects, product marketing can be obtained as well as the brand endorsement can also be achieved.
5. Idea feasibility and evaluation: The idea of using wireless technology has its feasibility through both positive aspects along with negative aspects, the negative being in minor amount (Wilson, 2017). Few points are mentioned below that are in favour of feasibility factor for using wireless headphones.
Positive feasibility
Safety:
The factor mainly entails when being subjective in travelling aspects. Through using wired ones against the wireless, the chances of increased responsibilities are a major consequences (Ford et al. 2018). One has to be more careful in managing the device and that of headphone wire while also managing the travelling. Any sort of negligence, can prove fatal especially when on roads. Against such, the wireless ones stay more beneficial. One can easily mind his/her steps while outside without bothering about the connection.
Reduction of range: Feasibility entails for the use of wireless technology is the reduction of tangling of wires favouring wired ones. Any sort of untangling is effectively increases the stress to untangle it that sometimes proves the tearing of wire. Such aspects end up ruining the headset. Through such, being caged up within a defined range to that of connecting device stays a major consequence (Lehmann & Joseph, 2015). Against such, the factor of wireless headphones stays feasible by eliminating the aspects of using wires. Further it also eliminates the issue of durability as it is more intact against the wired ones.
Negative feasibility
Transmission issues:
Negative feasibility stays intact for wireless headsets in form of transmission issues. Any sort of diligence or negativities within the circuitry of wired headsets can prove fatal as it might disrupt the connection. Against such, the feasibility of wired ones succeeds in this aspect over the wireless technologies.
As an overall account, it can be calculated that there are both positive as well as negative feasibilities of using wireless technologies. Through s customer viewpoint, the idea would be to get hold of a device that would be seamless designed along with having its portability’s and free from any sort of issues on a major concern (Jones-Evans & Klofsten, 2016). Favouring such, wireless technologies can be taken suitable better as compared to the wired ones. Hence feasibility for the idea of wireless headphones can be taken feasible to an appreciable level.
Conclusion
From the above mentioned content, various conclusions are too derived. The idea of using wireless technology is with various positive outcomes such as portable design or that of wider range that are subjective to be beneficial for the user. It can be concluded that the idea of wireless headphones would be beneficial especially to provide more eases. Against the use of wired ones with several disabilities, the wireless ones are more concluded to be convenient. While being feasible, the idea is also to be concluded to have some negative actions such as fatalities of circuitry, hampering the wireless technology.
As for example favouring the venture of Apple for producing wireless headphones, the building block model efficiently covered the requirements and that of market segments aspects for the company to produce the headphones. The wireless technology assignment was effective to produce the factors subjecting the company to produce their desired outcomes with relevance of the value propositions and their cost outlets.
