This social & digital media assignmentexplores how social and digital media have been used in recent years for different purposes from social communication to intense marketing campaigns. According to Smith and Anderson (2018), this article has described the usage of social media in 2018. In the latest survey data which has been done by the US survey stated that the social media landscape in 2018 has been defined as the mix of different trends in social media. As the graph above shows that Facebook and YouTube has been the most dominant landscape which has been used mostly by the young adults of Americans. The key strength of this article is that it has thoroughly highlighted the social media usage by a majority of US adults. With a thorough survey process it has statistically described the variety of platforms and their usage via people. The report material has displayed about the different usage of social media and it will show different platforms growth excessively. But the overall report fails to describe the different factors which mainly encourage the users to use the platform. Additionally it has been found in the next graph from the report those usage times of Facebook being the highest and lowest being the usage of YouTube.

There are different steps investigated on this social & digital media assignmentwhich include blog posting with the help of Facebook medium. Blog posting has been one of the latest trends which are on-going among the people. Blogging is something where you can share your thoughts with friends, family members and other parts of Facebook. Some of the process which is related with Facebook is as follows:
• Setting up of the page: Creation of the Facebook page is the first step of creating a blog (Levine, 2012). After login into the personal account you are required to click on the menu icon which has 9 dots and create it effectively.

• Go to page: Once the page has been created, uploading a photo is the next point where you can access Facebook by clicking on pages from the left panel and clicking on its name.

• Cover image adding: It is the third step which will give your blog a wonderful look and people will be able to know about the blog once they see the cover image. Effective title and image for the blog is necessary to address social & digital media assignments effectively. The image needs to be within the size limit of 400*150 px. Clicking on the edit button and uploading the photo will clear this step.

• Uploading profile picture: Profile photo upload is the next step where the image mainly reflects the page or the blog purpose. Going into the option of updating profile picture you can update a profile pic for the page.

• Click on settings: Clicking onto settings option you have the option to change any page options and the gear icon towards the bottom of the left panel effectively. Under the page option there are different options.

• Adjusting the page preferences: There are different options related to the page preferences and thus creating a blog will require different preferences. Page visibility and disable posts are some of the options which are necessary in future.

• Page info: It mainly includes the overall information of the page or the required social & digital media assignment. Adding the URL of the page which will allow you to create the username of the blog. Additionally with the contact information and other media platforms where the blog will be available.
