Purpose: The main purpose of this project examined in this project proposal assignment is to extend the current IT infrastructure (that is installing software and installing new computers) for meeting the expansion needs of the business at home.
Project Sponsor- The project will be sponsored by Daniel McCloy (My Father)
Sponsoring Department- Daniel McCloy is the project sponsor and will be supported by family members who will act as stakeholders for the successful implementation of office at home for extending current business.
Implementing Agency:
McCloy & Co is a sole proprietorship firm that deals with conducting marketing and promotional activities for commercial purposes. The management of the firm is handled by McCloy with eldest son Stanley. The scope of the business has increased so we are collaborating with many business organizations to promote their campaigns. This Business venture is established in the UK, employing only two persons as the company is a small venture undertaking promotional activities for other firms. This company has been engaged with FCO for any funds, since its establishment. This home business relies on the objectives of openness, sustainability, opportunity, and reputation. This business venture is dedicated to long term influence in the business infrastructure provided by the UK marketing industry. The operations are majorly based in UK but this venture promotes marketing campaigns of different companies established in various nations. This business platform will also aim to set up a Business group thus, creating a platform for matching British Expertise with that of locally available infrastructure.

Project Leader- The leader for this home office will be Daniel McCloy as the business is very small and he is the sole decision-maker relating to the implementation of this project. Since he has been handling all operations of the home business smoothly, he will lead this project and will be assisted by his elder son.
Project Scope- The project aims to assists other commercial units in creating their brand image on the customers. The company is a small marketing firm with relatively low resources like finance, equipment, humans, and others. This venture operates from home and seeks to expand for long term sustenance in the marketing industry. The project implementation of installing systems and software shall be done within Nov 2020 for catering increased demands of online marketing. The major goal of the project is to installing a maximum of 4 systems to manage workflow efficiency.
Cost to FCO- This will entail the total costs of the project requested by FCO and this amount will be included in the implementer contract.

Timing –Planned start date of the project will from 1st April 2020 and will end within 31st March 21, thus, it is expected that within the financial year of 20/ 21, all the projects undertaken by this business venture will be completed.
Background– The UK consists of several starts- up firms that require adequate marketing campaigns for high brand recognition. The only issue of this project is securing funds for financing the IT infrastructure due to the impact of the pandemic.The objectives of this project are defined to be sustainable, open, reputation, and opportunities, and it can only be achieved if the installation work is completed within stipulated time- frames.
The UK is the best donor for this project as it comprises of Prosperity Funding programs that help many businesses to launch and flourish. The environmental problems have increased due to which many companies are focusing on cutting their conventional advertisement and shift to sustainable promotional campaigns that include a variety of digital mediums. This small venture has been impactful in changing the websites and other processes of new start-up firms. The digital marketing industry is on rising trends due to cost-effectiveness and faster outcomes. The company has received local support in terms of finances and resources but an additional fund is needed for installing advanced computer systems for the business.
Outputs- The outputs from this project will include the installation of more than 4 systems, installing several software, efficient wiring, and establishing sufficient network connections for high-speed internet.

Risks
Business risks are one of the most crucial as the cost incurred should be fruitful in growing the business. Since the global market and UK are impacted by the pandemic, many newly start-up firms have suffered losses. The impact of a pandemic on small firms and new start-ups might impact the business expansion of McCloy & Co. In this view, several collaborations have already been made with existing and new business, thus expansion strategy is expected to succeed.
Also, product quality might impact successful implementation of this project. However, the verified seller has been confirmed for this, end output will back the expansion strategy. Another potential risk related to product damage during transportation from suppliers to the home office. Also, the products will be procured before the start of the project, thus damage can also occur during storage, and this will further increase the costs of the products. Thus, a separate room has been allotted for storing all the products safely and one of the domestic staff of McCloy will supervise safe storing and managing room traffic.
